Aaron Wissner


Aaron Wissner is a teacher from Michigan. He was born in 1970 in Manistee, Michigan. He attended Bear Lake Schools , graduating with honors in 1988. He attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a mathematics degree in 1992.

He began his teaching career in 1992. He taught students at Muskegon High School , Berrian County Math and Science Center , Lakeshore High School , Wayland Union High School , Bear Lake Schools , Allegan County Math and Science Center and Wayland Union Elementary Schools . He is currently teaching student how to use computers in Wayland Union Middle School .

Currently, Aaron is involved in several efforts to make the future a better place. He is running for Board of Education for the Thornapple Kellogg Schools . He is active in the Michigan Education Association . He recently joined the Democratic Party in order to advocate for children and public education. He is also very interested in the environment, human rights, equality, freedom of speech and other social issues .

Aaron's father is the magician Wayne Wissner and his mother is the journalist Sheila Wissner who works for the Nashville Tennessean. His sister Marissa Wissner is a business analyst for Kraft Foods.

Aaron was married in 1998 to Kimberly Sager of Jasper, Michigan who is manager for Smiths Aerospace in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
