The Adelaide Oval is a stadium in Adelaide, South Australia primarily used for cricket and Australian football. It is located in North Adelaide near the centre of the city and has a history which dates back to the 1870s. It is considered to be one of the most picturesque Test cricket grounds in Australia, if not the world, [1] and is the home ground of the Southern Redbacks, the South Australian state cricket team.
