Ahti

In Finnish mythology, Ahti or Ahto is the god of the sea and of fishing, portrayed as a man with a beard of moss. He is the consort of Wellamo , and they dwell in the undersea palace of Ahtoia . He possesses the Sampo. He is served by Vetehinen and the sea monster Tursa . Some legends say that he and Lemminkainen are one and the same.
