Albrecht, Duke of Württemberg

Duke Albrecht of Würtemberg (1865-1939) was a commander of the German Army in World War I in Belgium. He was promoted to Generalfeldmarschall.

HRH Duke Albrecht Eugen Maria Philipp Carl Joseph Fortunatus of Würtemberg (8 January 1895-24 June 1954) was son of Duke Albrecht of Württemberg (1865-1939) and his wife Margarete Sophie of Austria (1870-1902).

On 24 January 1924 at Bad Mergentheim he married HRH Princess Nadejda of Bulgaria (1899-1958), daughter of King Ferdinand I of Bulgaria. They had five children.

He died in Swabisch Gmund.
