Alesd

Aleşd (Hungarian: Élesd) is the largest town in Bihor county (Romania) after Oradea. It is located in the east of the county, near the border with Cluj county. It also lies on the national road running from Oradea to Cluj-Napoca and further west. Alesd has a population of around 12,000.

Accessibility

Alesd is located on the main railway line between Oradea and Bucharest. Consequently, it is served by frequent rapid and intercity (IC) trains from Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Arad and Timisoara. From the destinations below, there are the following number of trains to Alesd daily:
