Alex Reece is the Creator of the jazzstep sound, a mix of drum 'n' bass and jazz, and one of the artists under the Metalheadz collective, who works also under the alias of Fallen Angel .

He received a great success with his single "Pulp Fiction" in 1995. Although he is a DJ, most of his work he prefers to do at home in the studio.

He has also remixed for artists such as Tricky, Neneh Cherry and Juan Atkins.
