Amaethon

In Welsh mythology, Amaethon was a god of agriculture, a son of the goddess Don.

He stole a dog, lapwing and roebuck from Arawn, leading to the Cad Goddeu (Battle of the Trees) between the underworld gods and monsters and the children of Don. In this battle, Amaethon's brother, Gwydion, turned trees into warriors that helped the children of Don win.
