America West Holdings Corporation is a Phoenix, Arizona based company that has as its primary holding America West Airlines.

History

On April 20, 2005 it was announced that America West Airlines was in talks with US Airways over a possible merger. As reported in the press, US Airways would create a new holding company. Shares in that company would be given to America West Holdings share holders as well as creditors of US Airways.
