Amy Carter

Amy Lynn Carter (born October 19, 1967 in Plains, Georgia) is the youngest child of former U.S. president Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn.

She is best known for her protests against U.S. foreign policy choices in South Africa and Central America. Carter was arrested during a protest in 1987, during her first year at Brown University. The charges were later dropped.

She later earned her master's degree from Tulane University, and is now married with one son.
