Andrónico Luksic Abaroa (born 1926, in Antofagasta, Chile) is a Chilean businessman and founder of the Luksic Group . As of 2005 he was the richest person in Chile (4th in Latin America, 134th in the world), with a fortune of 4,300 million dollars, according to Forbes magazine. The Luksic Group has interests in mining, logging and the retail industry. Major holdings include, or have included, the Almacenes París retail chain and Antofagasta plc , a UK-listed copper mining company.
His son, also a businessman, is Andrónico Luksic Craig. He was involved in the Vladimiro Montecinos 's videos affair.
