Annibale Bergonzoli (1884-1973), during World War II, was an Italian Lieutenant-General who commanded the defenses of Bardia, Libya. He was captured, in 1940, by Australian soldiers.

His troops nicknamed him "Electric Whiskers", a reference to his spiked white beard.
