HI & RH Albrecht Friedrich Rudolf, Archduke of Austria, Prince of Hungary and Bohemia, Herzog von Teschen (3 August 1817-18 February 1895).

He was born in Vienna, the son of Archduke Karl of Austria, Duke of Teschen and his wife Princess Henriette of Nassau-Weilburg (1797-1829).

On 1 May 1844 in Munich he married Princess Hildegard of Bavaria (1825-1864), daughter of King Ludwig I of Bavaria and his wife Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen (1792-1854).

Their children were:

• Maria Theresia (1845-1927)
• Karl (1847-1848)
• Mathilde (1849-1867)

He became a general field marshal in 1888.

He died in Arco, Italy .
