Assemani is a family of Lebanese Maronites that included several notable Orientalists:

• Joseph Simon Assemani (1687-1678)
• Joseph Aloysius Assemani (1710-1782), brother of Joseph Simon
• Stephen Evodius Assemani (1709-1782), nephew of Joseph Simon
• Simon Assemani (1752-1820), grandnephew of Joseph Simon
