Backyard Baseball

Backyard Baseball is a series of video games for the Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, GameCube and the PC. Currently all the games in the series have been developed by Humongous Entertainment and publihsed by Atari. It is one of four "Backyard Sports" games.

Managers can not create players, but they can choose from among a roster of characters to form teams. A player could play an exhibition game or a 14 game season, which is followed by "BBL playoffs" to the best of three games, the championship series, named the "Super Entire Nation Tournament", also to the best of three, and ultimately the "Ultra Grand Championship of the Universe Series", scheduled to a best of five format.

Backyard Baseball attempts to recreate the experience of playing baseball as children.
