Two battles of World War II are known as the Battle of Kiev, fought around the city of Kiev in the Soviet Union (now in the Ukraine):
- In the Battle of Kiev (1941) two German Panzer Groups encircled a Soviet army in the city.
- In the Battle of Kiev (1943) the city was recaptured by the Soviet 1st Ukrainian Front.
There was also a Kiev Offensive during the Polish-Soviet War in 1920.
