Bea Benaderet

Bea Benaderet (April 4, 1906 - October 13, 1968) (pr: ben-ah-DARE-ett) was an American actor best remembered as a voice artist in radio and animation.

Born in New York City, New York, her most enduring role is that of Betty Rubble, next-door neighbour in The Flintstones, whom she portrayed from 1960 to 1964. She had earlier provided many female voices in Warner Bros. animated shorts. A recurring role as Cousin Pearl in the CBS sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies led to her being cast as as Kate Bradley, proprietor of the Shady Rest Hotel in Petticoat Junction, in which she starred until her death.

Bea Benaderet also played Blach Morton, next door neighbor to George Burns and Gracie Allen on the Burns and Allen Show.

Bea Benaderet is interred in the Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
