Bicycle kick

Bicycle kick is an expert move in football (soccer), popularized by Brazilian great Pelé, that is made by throwing the body up into the air with the legs moving as if pedaling a bicycle. The player then kicks the ball backward over his head.

Though popularised and associated with the player Pelé, the invention of the move is usually credited to either Leônidas da Silva of Brazil or Silvio Piola of Italy. However a third and highly unlikely candidate has come forward in the form of Herbert Douglas Ellis of Cheshire, England, who claims that he invented the move whilst playing for England's national team in a friendly game.
