Boise Cascade

Boise Cascade LLC, which uses the trade name Boise, is an American pulp and paper company, ranked as the thirteenth biggest pulp and paper company in the world. It was established in 1957 as the result of the merger between Boise Payette Lumber Company and Cascade Lumber Company.

Boise Cascade is headquartered in downtown Boise, Idaho.

In November 2004, the company split from its office supplies division, known as OfficeMax. The Boise Cascade division was sold to Madison Dearborn Partners, a privately held company.
