Brixton railway station

Brixton Railway Station is on the train line between London Victoria and Orpington. Trains at the station are operated by South Eastern Trains. The normal service is one train every thirty minutes in both directions.

To get from Brixton tube station to the railway station, turn right out of the tube and then take the first main road on the right. The station is above ground level - for Victoria take the stairs in the pavement, for Orpington go into the tunnel and past the ticket office.

The inner South London Line passes above Brixton station's platforms, but there are no platforms on this line. There are, however, plans to put platforms in when the South London Line becomes part of the East London Line extension, as with Loughborough Junction. However, this has not been confirmed.

The next station out of London is Herne Hill station.
