Bruce Coville

Bruce Coville is an American author of children's stories. His books are generally that of the fantasy and science fiction genres, full of personable and humorous characters. Though he writes for children and seems to enjoy terms such as "booger" and "slobber," his books contain inlaid values such as saving the environment and treating everyone fairly.

His first published story was The Foolish Giant. But he is most famous for his Space Brat, My Teacher is an Alien, Aliens Ate My Homework , and Magic Shop series. Other lesser-known books include: the Camp Hills, I Was a Sixth Grade Alien, Unicorn Chronicles, and A.I. Gang series. Mr. Coville has also written picture books and retellings of William Shakespeare.
