The McDonnell Douglas C-9 Nightingale is a transport aircraft used by the United States Air Force for medical evacuation. It is a modified version of the twin-engined DC-9 airliner.

Known as the "Cadillac of Medivac", it was retired from use in the active duty Air Force in September of 2003.
