CZ-99 is a pistol made by Zastava Arms Co from Kragujevac, Serbia and Montenegro.

Serbian police uses CZ-99 as a service pistol, and it is also being exported. The copies of the CZ-99 were manufactured in South Africa and Israel.

Name

Zastava means flag in Serbian, and former name of the factory is Crvena Zastava (Red Flag), so the name is abbreviation of this former name.
