Cait Sith

Cait Sith (pronounced cait shee) is a fairy creature from Celtic mythology said to resemble a large black cat with a white spot on its breast. It was said to haunt the Scottish Highlands. Some common folklore suggested that the Cait Sith was not a fairy, but a transformed witch.

The name Cait Sith has appeared several times in the Final Fantasy series of computer role playing games, most notably in Final Fantasy VII.

Cait Sith makes an appearance in Princess Maker as a mischievious cat-like demon, but whether or not it is really a reference to the Cait Sith of legend is debatable.
