Category:Nuclear air launched missiles

Nuclear air launched missiles are missile designed to be carried by aircraft and launched at enemy targets carrying a nuclear warhead. These were seen as an advancement over nuclear bombs because they could be launched some distance from the target, reducing the chance of interception, sometimes without requiring the bomber to enter the enemy's airspace.
