Charles Hart is a British lyricist, songwriter and musician. He was born in 1962 in London, and attended Robinson College, Cambridge.
He is best-known for co-writing the lyrics to The Phantom of the Opera musical with Richard Stilgoe. He has received two Ivor Novello Awards and has been nominated twice for a Tony Award.
