Chelsea Victoria Clinton (born February 27, 1980) is the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and United States Senator Hillary Clinton.

Chelsea, who was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, spent her teenage years growing up in the White House. She was a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist in 1997.

She acted for her mother in the responsibilities of First Lady of the United States from January 3 to January 20, 2001 from when her mother started her term as a U.S. Senator to the end of her father's Presidency, although she did not assume the title and is not recognized as an official First Lady. Laura Welch Bush became First Lady when her husband George W. Bush assumed the Presidency on January 20.

Chelsea graduated from Stanford University with a degree in history in 2001, with her undergraduate thesis on her father's mediation of the 1998 Northern Ireland peace agreement. She then went on to earn a Master's degree at University College, Oxford University in International Relations. In 2003, she joined consulting company McKinsey and Company in New York City, earning a reported six-figure salary.

As a child, her Secret Service codename was "Energy".
