The Chichele Professorships are statutory professorships at the University of Oxford named in honour of Henry Chichele (also spelt Chicheley or Checheley, although the spelling of the academic position is consistently "Chichele"), an Archbishop of Canterbury and founder of All Souls College, Oxford, fellowship of that College accompanying the award of a Chichele chair. There are currently Chichele Professorships in five different subjects:

• Chichele Professorship of Economic History: chair established 1931, Avner Offer appointed 1 August 2000
• Chichele Professorship of the History of War: Hew Strachan appointed 1 January 2002
• Chichele Professorship of Public International Law: chair established 1859, Vaughan Lowe appointed 1 October 1999
• Chichele Professorship of Social and Political Theory: Gerald Cohen appointed 1985
• Chichele Professorship of Medieval History: The outgoing Professor is Sir Rees Davies , as of March 2005 the selection process for his successor, to be appointed 1 October 2005, is ongoing.

Probably the best known former Chichele Professor is Sir Isaiah Berlin.
