Christine Baranski

Christine Baranski (born 2 May 1952 in Buffalo, New York) is an American actress. She had a starring role in the sitcom Cybill. Her film credits include Chicago (2002), the 2000 live-action adaptation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Bowfinger (1999) and The Birdcage (1996). She hosted the 1996-05-11 episode of Saturday Night Live.

Baranski appeared uncredited in the 1999 series Now and Again as the voice of Roger's overbearing wife Ruth, who we never saw.
