The Church of St. George is a monolithic church in Lalibela, Ethiopia. It has been falsely rumored to have been constructed by the Knights Templar in the 13th century and to house the Ark of the Covenant.

There are numerous monolithic churches in the Lalibela complex from a similar period, many connected to one another by underground tunnels, but this is the most famous of them. There is a small baptismal pool outside the Church, which can be seen in the photo.
