Circus Flaminius

The Circus Flaminius was a race-track in Ancient Rome. It was near to a temple of Poseidon, a Greek mythical god of the sea. The Circus Flaminius is one of the 3 partly extant Roman amphitheatres. It was built by C. Flaminius Nepos in 221 B.C.
