Colm O'Loughlin

Colm O'Loughlin is an Irish musician who is attempting to bring the contemporary musical style in Ireland to the forefront into the European market. He has written a number of successful songs including, "We're singing as one", a theme song for a very popular sports festival for children in Ireland called Community Games. His musical style mixes folk, pop and rock melodies and attempts to bring a more popular sound to each song so as to reach the ears of the european market. Many Irish artists struggle to lose their typical irish rock sound.

History

Colm was born on the 13th of February 1978 in Limerick. He grew up in Sixmilebridge until the age of 21 when he moved to Paris. He then travelled to Australia for 5 months. Returning he moved to Germany for 3 years. He then travelled around the southern european countries in his car for another 5 months. Lived in Paris for another year and has toured the ski resort of skiwelt in Austria for 3 months promoting his music under the name of Snowdogs in 2005. His combined world experiences lend to the knowledge and emotion that you find in each song. He has since moved back to Ireland in 2005.
