The Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico is a state university and a music school in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was created by law of the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico on June 1959 . The primary mission of the conservatory is to prepare musicians for the Symphony Orchestra of Puerto Rico , and to provide the public education system of the island with teachers.
