Gwyniad

The gwyniad (Coregonus pennantii) is a species of freshwater fish in the salmon family (family Salmonidae) native to Bala Lake in Wales.

The gwyniad is sometimes considered a subspecies or population of the common whitefish (C. lavaretus) of continental Europe.
