Demetrius II was probably the second son of Demetrius I. He ruled as a sub-king in Bactria, as his father was conquering the Indian territory to the East.
According to his coinage, Demetrius II probably did not live very long, and was likely assinated, as his brothers, by the usurper Eucratides, who took control of the Greco-Bactrian territory.
