Dene-Caucasian languages

The Dene-Caucasian (or Sino-Caucasian) language family is a conjectural macrofamily containing the Sino-Tibetan, North Caucasian, and Na-Dene languages. Many linguists, in particular John Bengtson , have proposed including Basque as well. However, due to the uncertainty of comparative linguistics, this has never been demonstrated unequivocally.
