Earth Girl Arjuna is a twelve-episode anime series that was originally aired by TV Tokyo between 2001-01-09 and 2001-03-27 . The series was originally supposed to run for thirteen episodes, but episode nine, "Before Birth," was banned in Japan due to two detailed scenes depicting childbirth.
