Ekeren is a northern suburb of Antwerp, Belgium.

Ekeren is this year celebrating its 850th birthday and the city, who's name was first recorded in 1155 (Hecerna at the time) is currently undergoing a large overhaul as the Veltwijklaan is having its sewage replaced.
