Empires: Dawn of the Modern World is a history-based real-time strategy computer game developed by Stainless Steel Studios and released in 2003. In many ways, it is a sequel to Empire Earth, Stainless Steel Studios's previous game.

Rather than allowing the player to play at any point in history, Empires: Dawn of the Modern World restricts the gameplay to five "epochs": Medieval Age, Gunpowder Age, Imperial Age, World War I, and World War II.
