Euzkadi

Euzkadi is a name coined for the Basque Country by Sabino Arana, theorist of Basque nationalism, first registered in 1896 and still used by his followers. In the second half of the XIX century, the terms Euzkaria and Euzkadia had already been used. The form Euskadi, closer to the Basque tradition, has got a wider acceptation by people of different ideologies.

Euzkadi was also a Mexican brand of tyres.
