Eve of Destruction is computer game mod for Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam that features Vietnam War content and more realistic gameplay balance. EoD started as a Vietnam War mod for the Battlefield 1942 and attained considerable success. Major public releases for BF1942 included a Alpha 0.2 and Beta 0.3 along with minor patches. The dev team moved onto working on creating a release for Battlefield Vietnam (2004) after EoD v.31 for BF1942.
