The Explorer Plate is an oceanic tectonic plate beneath the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of Vancouver Island, Canada.

The easterly side is a boundary with the North American Plate. The southerly side is a boundary with the Juan de Fuca Plate. The westerly side is a boundary with the Pacific Plate. The northerly side is a divergent boundary with the Pacific Plate forming the Explorer Ridge .
