F.A.O. Schwarz

F.A.O. Schwarz is the name of a toy store chain founded in 1870 by German immigrant Frederick August Otto Schwarz in New York, New York. The original name of the store was Toy Bazaar.

The New York City store on Fifth Avenue is still very popular, and one of the most famous buildings in New York City. After being closed for almost a year, F.A.O. Schwarz reopened its New York and Las Vegas stores in the Fall of 2004.
