Flip can refer to:

• A somersault
• The character Flip from the cartoon Little Nemo
• FLIP (Fast-Local-Internet-Protocoll)

The word Flip, may also be used as a derogatory term for people of Filipino descent. It was first coined by US troops during the Philippine-American war who referred to Filipino's as "Fucking Little Island People" (see Ethnic slurs).
