Forevertron

The Forevertron is the largest scrap metal sculpture in the world. Its creator, Dr. Evermor, claims it is designed to majestically lift him into the heavens to the music of a 70-piece band of scrap-metal birds. In addition, he has built a tea house from which he says Queen Victoria and Prince Albert (both long dead in reality) may observe the event, and that the various devices on the ground will enable viewing and listening to his ascent. Amazingly, the sculpture incorporates the actual decontamination chamber from the Apollo Project, as well as dynamos built by Thomas Edison.
