Forté Agent is a newsreader used on the Windows operating system. Initially popular in the mid-nineties, Forté created the first truly easy to use newsreader. However, it has recently suffered a wane in popularity due to an increasing amount of competent rivals, particularly from the Microsoft Windows-bundled Outlook Express. However, for those interested in downloading and decoding large binary files, Forté Agent are preferred.
