Fort Washington Avenue is a major north-south street in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. It begins in the north at Fort Tryon Park and ends at 159th Street, where it runs into Broadway. Famous people who lived on Fort Washington Avenue include Drs. Henry Kissinger and Ruth Westheimer, TV's "Doctor Ruth."
