Four Days in September is a Brazilian film by Bruno Barreto. The 1997 was based on the 1979 memoir "O Que e Isso Companheiro?" by Fernando Gabeira . The film tells the story of the abduction of US ambassador Charles Burke Elbrick in 1969 by the revolutionary group MR8 . The movie was nominated for many awards including Best Foreign Language Film by the Academy Awards.
