Fox Footy Channel is a channel exclusively dedicated to Australian rules football, in particular the AFL. The channel was created after the Foxtel consortium won the rights to the AFL; formerly a key feature of Optus Vision programming. Thus Fox Footy Channel replaced the now defunct Sports AFL and C7 Sports as the home of Australian football on cable television.
