Franconia-Springfield (Washington Metro)

Franconia-Springfield is a Washington Metro station in Springfield, Virginia on the Blue Line. It is the southwestern end of the Blue Line.

The station serves a suburban area and is mostly used for commuters, with a parking capacity of over 3800. It is located at Franconia-Springfield Parkway and Frontier Drive, and it is considered to be a major transit hub, with the Virginia Railway Express, Metrobus, and local and regional bus lines. Service began on June 28, 1997.
