George Herbert Walker

George Herbert Walker (June 11, 1875 in St. Louis, Missouri - June 24, 1953 in New York City, New York) was a wealthy American businessman.

He is grandfather to President George Herbert Walker Bush and great-grandfather of George W. Bush and Jeb Bush.

He was president of the United States Golf Association (USGA) in 1920, and the Walker Cup, a famous biennial golf match which is held by the association, is named after him. His son-in-law, Prescott Bush was a member of the executive committee of the USGA, serving successively as Secretary, Vice President and President from 1928-1935.
